Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick. These kits include everything needed for a complete installation. The catch can draws out oil and water condensation from the crankcase gasses that would otherwise be drawn into the intake manifold. Furthermore, the closed system prevents unwanted oil vapors from entering into the cabin.

FEATURES
-Effectively raises the octane and increased engine performance from cleaner inlet air
-Prevents oil buildup in the intake or intercooler system walls, throttle body, intake manifold, etc.
-Excessive oil collection can be an indicator of a damaged engine.
-Lowers hydrocarbon emissions
-Capacity: 7 fluid ounces

20-0985-FL CATCH CAN KIT, PCV, 14-19 CORVETTE LT1, FLUID LOCK

COMPATIBILITY
14-19 Corvette LT1 (Wet Sump)
14-19 Corvette LT1 (Dry Sump)

The anodized aluminum catch can bracket mounts just to the LH side of the radiator using OEM threaded holes.

The PCV catch can kit is compatible with both wet and dry sump LT1 engines.

The PCV catch can kit improves the performance of the Gen V LT1 crankcase ventilation system. The catch can runs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. When the intake manifold pressure is close to or greater than atmospheric pressure, the PCV "check" valve closes and, thus, this hose experiences no flow. Conversely, the PCV hoses will experience "metered" vacuum when the engine is idling, steady state cruising, and decelerating. This would normally draw unwanted crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after a high load run.

INCLUDES

-Baffled oil catch can with integrated condenser and dipstick
-Anodized aluminum mounting bracket
-SAE quick connect fittings
-Stainless mounting hardware
-3/8" PCV rubber hose
-Spring clamps

20-0986-FL DUAL CATCH CAN KIT, CCV, 14-19 CORVETTE LT1, FLUID LOCK

COMPATIBILITY
14-19 Corvette LT1 (Wet Sump)
14-19 Corvette LT1 (Dry Sump)

The anodized aluminum catch can bracket mounts near the front LH side of the engine. A polished billet plate secures to 3 OEM grounding points. Because this is manufactured from aluminum, it conducts electricity. The large anodized dual catch can bracket secures to the ground plate.

The dual CCV (crankcase vent) catch can kit retains factory functuality and is compatible with both wet and dry sump LT1 engines. For wet sump engines, each valve cover vents to the intake through their respective catch can. For dry sump engines, the LH valve cover vents to the intake through the respective catch can. The RH valve cover vents to the intake through the dry sump then the respective catch can.

At low loads, these catch cans experience atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is at high load (WOT), these vents will experience high flow out of the crankcase. This would normally lead to oil and sludge accumulation in the air filter intake pipe.

INCLUDES

-Baffled oil catch can with integrated condenser and dipstick
-Anodized aluminum mounting bracket
-Polished billet aluminum ground plate
-SAE quick connect fittings
-Stainless mounting hardware
-3/8" PCV rubber hose
-Spring clamps

20-0987-FL TRIPLE CATCH CAN KIT, 14-19 CORVETTE LT1, FLUID LOCK

COMPATIBILITY
14-19 Corvette LT1 (Wet Sump)
14-19 Corvette LT1 (Dry Sump)

This triple catch can kit includes both the PCV and dual CCV catch can kits for the ultimate in engine protection.

Shown is a dry sump LT1 engine.

INCLUDES

-Baffled oil catch cans with integrated condenser and dipstick
-Anodized aluminum mounting brackets
-Polished billet aluminum ground plate
-SAE quick connect fittings
-Stainless mounting hardware
-3/8" PCV rubber hose

An oil catch can is essential on a vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated from normal wear and tear. Excess oil saturated air circulating back into the air intake stream can lead to degraded performance. Read about all the benefits and functionality of the Radium Engineering's popular catch cans here:
